The Denver Business Journal has been offering Virtual AdTaker to its real estate advertisers to create their own gallery style display ads. The program was so successful they began using the in column product offered by Virtual AdTaker for Legal Notices and other business advertising. Virtual AdTaker’s Legal and Business Advertising product has now replaced their antiquated BaseView system.

The Legal Notice application not only allows DBJ’s customers to create their own ads and submit them to the newspaper, in addition, it creates the affidavit of publication. The newspapers affidavit form is loaded into the application and allows the DBJ staff to select a publication date. The application automatically fills in the start and end dates, calculates the number of publications, and provides a printable PDF including the actual ad published along side the affidavit form. According to Chelsea Brown, the account executive responsible for legal notices at DBJ remarks, “this is a huge time saver for us.”

In addition, their production staff was amazed at the ease of using Virtual AdTaker to prepare their legal notice page(s). After the first week of production from Virtual AdTaker instead of BaseView, Allison Sowers, their Classified Production manager remarked, “Hell must have frozen over; it just can’t be this easy!” But it is that easy and the Denver Business Journal is very pleased with the both the revenue and cost results.
